Beef Stew

500g Lamb or Beef]
200g bacon, diced
2 large carrots, sliced in large chunks
200ml red wine
400ml beef or veggie stock
200g button mushrooms
1 tblspoon olive oil

Heat oil in pan, brown meat. Remove from pan.

Crisp bacon in pan then return meat to pan.

Place in a preheated 160C oven for 45min. Add the mushrooms and cook for a further 30 minutes

Melt the white chocolate in a bowl over simmering water, then add to the cream mixture.

Great with mash
